Samsung Electronics held the Samsung Galaxy A Event 2022 online at 11 pm on the 17th and unveiled the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G. It is an entry-level model with functions and design that allows you to experience the uniqueness of Galaxy.

This is the second time Samsung Electronics has introduced the Galaxy A series at a public event, following last year. In fact, the status has been upgraded to a level comparable to that of the flagship flagship model. It is interpreted that it contains a will to strengthen the leadership by expanding the influence of low and mid-priced phones with a high proportion of volume in the overall market.

Samsung Electronics presented the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G core concepts as popularization of the latest Galaxy innovation experience. Unique user experience One UI and Android operating system updates are supported up to 4 times, and security updates are supported for 5 years.
Samsung Electronics new products are evaluated to have a comparative advantage in product competitiveness compared to Chinese-made smartphones that are on a disruptive attack in the mid- to low-end market. It features a new 5nm processor, unrivaled artificial intelligence camera, smooth large-screen display, and seamless Galaxy ecosystem interworking experience.
The IP67 grade waterproof and dustproof, which was mainly applied to premium models, is applied to Galaxy A33 5G, and durability is improved by adopting Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Like the Galaxy S22 series, eco-friendly elements are used in the sim tray and side buttons by utilizing post-use resources.
Samsung Electronics MX Division Pro Kim Tae-hyun introduced the latest Galaxy A series at Galaxy A Event 2022. Reflecting the video viewing habits of the MZ generation, this event was broadcast live in portrait mode for the first time on mobile devices.
Both products are equipped with a 5000 mAh large-capacity battery, and can be used for two days with improved efficiency. The Galaxy A53 5G has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the Galaxy A33 5G has a 6.4-inch Infinity-U display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The main camera optical room image stabilization function was also adopted in both models. For the first time in the Galaxy A series, an AI eraser function that erases shadows and unnecessary objects in photos is installed.
The new Galaxy A series will be released sequentially in the global market from April. In Korea, the Galaxy A53 5G will be officially released on the 1st of next month. The domestic factory price is 599,500 won, and pre-sale will be held from the 18th to the 24th. There are 3 colors: Awesome Blue, Awesome Black and Awesome White. Galaxy A33 5G domestic release schedule has not been decided.
