[Seoul=Newsis] Reporter Jinyoung Lee = Naver announced on the 18th that it has launched a knowledge interactive service that searches for desired information by asking questions as if talking like a human with artificial intelligence.
In addition to the super-scale AI HyperClover, this service is grafted with a conversational AI model that further advanced Navers Air Search AI technology.
Naver plans to provide advanced search usability to communicate with AI, command 3D models, view information in real space with AR, and interact with users.
The biggest advantage of knowledge interactive is that AI understands questions in everyday terms and finds specialized information.
In particular, since AI is implemented as if it is directly responding to a search term, users can feel as if they are actually having a conversation, enabling more realistic conversations.
For example, in the existing search, the information that can only be obtained by inputting the tyrannosaurus diet is a common question in everyday life such as Tyrannosaurus, what is your favorite food? . I can see my teeth marks on the bones of many herbivorous dinosaurs. Also, even when asked, “Do you like your eyes?”, I understand this as a question of vision, and answer that I have binocular vision of 55 degrees, which is superior to that of a living hawk, and that I have a vision that is 13 times sharper than that of a human.
In addition, Naver implements the search target as a 3D model and provides a webXR-based augmented reality function to provide users with a more lively search experience.
Search for Tyrannosaurus, and if you command it to walk or run, it reproduces the actual movement. In addition, multi-dimensional interaction is possible, such as calling a 3D tyrannosaurus in real space to continue a conversation or enlarging it to actual size.
Starting with Tyrannosaurus, Naver plans to provide services to the dinosaur groups that users frequently search for, and gradually expand the topic group in the future.
Naver has also strengthened the competitiveness of its interactive search AI model by applying the latest AI technology that tells the source of AI answers to its service. As such, Knowledge Interactive, a service to which Navers advanced search AI technology is applied, is part of the new search brand Air Search introduced last year, and plans to develop into a smart block with various forms in the future.
In Knowledge Interactive, which incorporates the latest AI technology, it is possible not only to continue the search as if in a natural conversation, but also to check the basis and source of the information answered by the AI.
Existing chatbots can respond to a wide range of questions because, in many cases, only a standardized form of question and answer is possible by training a predetermined answer.
In addition, after identifying the intent of the users query, finding an appropriate answer from documents within verified sources such as the Knowledge Encyclopedia, extracting documents and phrases that can support the answer, and verifying the relevant content through fact-checking, refer to the verified content at the bottom of the answer presented as data. References allow users to identify sources and explore additional information.
Hyun Dong-seok, head of Naver Search CIC, said that he expects that knowledge base-based search content, such as a knowledge encyclopedia, already provided through Knowledge Interactive, will meet the latest AI technology to help users find information more realistically.
