Recruitment of companies to participate in the ‘2022 Corporate Demand Linking Project Education’ hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and jointly hosted by the Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency and the Korea Metaverse Industry Association will begin on March 22.
With the paradigm shift caused by the pandemic brought about by Corona 19, and with the acceleration of the great digital transformation, there is a need for an active manpower nurturing policy to nurture industry-tailored experts who will lead the metaverse era.
Accordingly, the Corporate Demand Linkage Project Education, which is scheduled to be promoted as part of the 「Metaverse New Industry Leading Strategy」, is an intensive training focused on industry-specific tasks for incumbents in other industries to which the Metaverse is applied. One-stop process from project result to conclusion.
The training consists of an industry-friendly course to enhance the effectiveness of incumbent training. If a demanding company has its own training program, it will be linked with and differentiated from the training program to reorganize and upgrade the curriculum centered on project-based practice. .
Kyu-jo Cho, full-time vice president of the Korea Metaverse Industry Association, said, “We expect that corporate demand-related project education will help increase job competency of incumbents and strengthen corporate business competitiveness. We will continue to develop curriculum models such as corporate demand-connected project education so that we can do this.”
The education cost of this project is supported by the government, and any company with project execution ability applicable to the field of industry to which the metaverse is applied can participate. plans to support 10 companies by the end of the year.
