China’s online car-hailing regulatory information exchange platform released the basic operation of the online car-hailing industry in February: As of February 28, 2022, a total of 263 online car-hailing platform companies have obtained the online car-hailing platform business license, an increase of 3 from the previous month; 4.053 million online car-hailing driver’s licenses and 1.631 million vehicle transport licenses were issued, up 1.6% and 3.0% respectively from the previous month. China’s online car-hailing supervision information exchange platform received a total of 550.844 million orders in February, down 21.8% from the previous month. From this month’s situation, there are the following characteristics:
1. Among the online car-hailing platforms with more than 300,000 orders, the order compliance rate is the highest in Xiangdao Chuxing, and the lowest is Hua Xiaozhu Chuxing. There are 16 online car-hailing platforms with more than 300,000 orders in February 2022. According to the order compliance rate (referring to the proportion of orders for which both drivers and vehicles are licensed), from high to low, they are Xiangdao Travel, Timely Car, Sunshine Travel, T3 Travel, Landao Travel, Travel with China, such as Qi Chuxing, Shenzhou Special Car, Zhaozhao Chuxing, Shouqi Chuxing, Cao Cao Chuxing, Wanshun Chuxing, Bangbanghang, Meituan Taxi, Didi Chuxing, Hua Xiaozhu Chuxing. The top three in order compliance rate growth this month are Landao Travel, Timely Cars, and Wanshun Taxi; the last three are Huaxiaozhu Travel (+0.5%), Carry China Travel (+0.1%) ), Ruqi Travel (-1.7%).
2. Among the major central cities, Hangzhou has the highest order compliance rate, and Shijiazhuang has the lowest. According to the order compliance rate from high to low, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hefei, Ningbo, Nanchang, Chongqing, Hohhot, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Nanning, Changchun, Guiyang, Lanzhou, Qingdao, Xining, Taiyuan, Fuzhou, Tianjin, Jinan, Wuhan, Haikou, Changsha, Xi’an, Chengdu, Harbin, Shenyang, Shanghai, Yinchuan, Kunming, Dalian, Beijing, Shijiazhuang. Among them, the order compliance rate of 12 central cities including Hangzhou, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hefei, Ningbo, Nanchang, Chongqing, Hohhot, Nanjing, Zhengzhou and Nanning is above 80%. Yinchuan, Tianjin, and Hohhot ranked the top three in terms of order compliance rate growth this month; the last three were Guiyang (-2.2%), Ningbo (-3.0%), and Lanzhou (-7.8%).
