Hoban Cultural Foundation held to discover and nurture promising young artists nationwide
Any artist between the ages of 28 and under 45 who has held a solo or group exhibition can participate.

Hoban Group Hoban Cultural Foundation is holding an art contest for young artists ‘2022 H-EAA’. ‘H-EAA’ is a cultural and artistic event held annually by the Hoban Cultural Foundation to discover and nurture promising young artists across the country. The Hoban Cultural Foundation has been selecting and supporting 35 young artists since 2017.
The contest is open to any Korean artist between the ages of 28 and 45 who has held an individual or group exhibition at least once. The field of entry is all fields of visual arts. You can apply online through the Hoban Cultural Foundation website by April 17th.
This years Young Artists Contest was designed as an event that provides opportunities for young artists and allows visitors to enjoy art easily. The works of the 10 finally selected artists will be exhibited in a group for about two weeks, and audience voting will be held on site. The voting results are also reflected in the final judgement. The grand prize winner is 30 million won, the first prize is 10 million won, and the selected artist is 1 million won each.
An official from the Hoban Cultural Foundation said that the 6th H-EAA is being held every year, with many young artists participating and the quality of the work is rising.
The Hoban Cultural Foundation supports the creative space support project ‘H Art Lab’ to help the creative activities of cultural and artistic artists and theorists, ‘Art Workshop R’ programs, etc.
