■ The Korea Organ Donation Service announced that two people, including Ji Tae-sun and Hwang Jae-seong, gave new life to nine people through brain-dead organ donations according to the wishes of the deceased and their families. Ji was transported to the hospital in an accident where he fell and hit his head on the 5th, and was judged to be brain-dead. On the 8th, Ji donated hearts, lungs, liver, weak kidneys and pancreas to save six people. Hwang suffered a cerebral infarction last January and his condition worsened while being hospitalized. On the 10th of this month, the liver and bilateral kidneys were donated to three people.

The World Congress of Hand Surgery is also called the Olympic Games in the field of hand surgery and is held every three years.
