Deputy director of the National Health Commission, Wang He-sheng, said at a press conference today, “As a result of epidemiological investigations, it has been revealed that all recent cluster infections in mainland China originated from overseas inflows.”
He added, “In the situation of infectious diseases in various regions, there are multiple infection routes and the sources are complicatedly mixed.
China urges people to wear masks and gloves when receiving international mail and to disinfect mail, and recently recommended that those who receive international mail undergo a nucleic acid test.
In particular, some local governments have raised the possibility that the virus may have come from imported Korean clothing, and urged people not to buy Korean clothing unless absolutely necessary.
