Some iPhone users are complaining about iOS 15.4, the iPhone operating system that Apple recently released.
Last week, Apple released the latest operating systems, including iOS15.4, watchOS 8.5, and macOS Monterey 12.3. Among them, the feature that drew the most attention was the ability to unlock the iPhone using the Face ID function while wearing a mask.

However, foreign media such as GSM Arena recently reported that some iPhone users who have recently updated iOS 15.4 are reporting that their smartphone battery life has been shortened by half.
According to user reports, in the case of the recently updated iPhone 13 Pro Max, the battery was only known to last half a day, and in the case of the iPhone 11, there were complaints that 80% of the battery was drained within 2 hours with the screen turned on.
Some users have also argued that after Apples iOS 15.4 update, the iPhone started using the 120Hz refresh rate much more frequently, and that this seems to be a high battery drain.
In response, GSM Arena said that the 120Hz refresh rate only applies to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, so it does not affect the battery of any iPhone.
Apple has not yet made an official statement on the matter. However, if the issue affects more users, an update is expected soon.
