
MOU with LG CNS and YBM for foreign language conversation education service

LG CNS announced on the 20th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with YBM, a textbook publishing company, for cooperation in artificial intelligence-based foreign language conversation education services.

LG CNS signed agreements with a total of six companies including Genius Education, Dong-A Publishing, NE EYEONG, Daekyo, and emergency education, and provided a total of 105 elementary, middle and high school English textbook contents to the AI tutor app Speaking Class. got it mounted This amount is equivalent to 84% of all English textbooks supplied to elementary, middle, and high schools.
The Speaking Class, developed by LG CNS, is an AI tutor service that allows teachers to organize AI English learning content and provide ‘eye level education’ according to their learning level. It was the first AI-based English education program to receive an English education certification from the Korean Association for English Education last year.
LG CNS plans to provide a speaking class English textbook service to elementary, middle and high school teachers and students nationwide free of charge. Teachers can use the English textbook service free of charge if they sign up for the app through the official mail or the education office mail, and students can use it when the teacher registers as a student in the app.
English textbooks for elementary and middle schools in next month and English textbooks for general elective subjects in middle and high schools in May will be posted on the app. English textbooks for additional subjects such as Career English and Advanced English will be updated sequentially within the year. The Speaking Class app can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store.
In addition to speaking classes, LG CNS is also providing AI tutor services such as Mission English, which can develop practical conversation skills for various situations, and Toast, which prepares for the TOEIC speaking test.
